Very Inspiring People

Throughout our lives we meet people who inspire us. Giving us the desire to share their time and join them in their causes. At Atelier Bleu de Cocagne our “VIP‘s” express Creativity and Solidarity : core values in our approach. Our collaborations come naturally with a sincere desire for exchange and sharing.

His artistic journey started at 12 years old with tags, under the alias “Apolo”.
It is during a trip to to French Guyana that he discovers his range of primary colours.
Inspired by different art forms his work mirrors our society with a critical but not a moralizing view.
Working on the floor of his atelier, he spreads large canvases which he covers with acrylic paint, then uses an oil stick he traces childish characters which evolves in a skeletal form. In 2005, the prestigious Manès gallery in Prague, which plays a lead role in the European artistic scene, dedicates a wide retrospective of his work. The exhibition becomes a transcription of his life where characters emerge out of colourful backgrounds. This human comedy alludes to the sterile pantomime of a sardonic or pathetic glance. In 2008, he exhibits at Galerie Pierre Cardin in Paris erotic drawings, the delicateness of the line reveals an intense sensuality in a neo realistic form exempted of any vulgarity. In 2011, he was invited to participate to the collective exhibition Empreintes Urbaines at Palais d’Iéna  where the painting “Viva Liberta” was shown. In 2014, Lollia captivated the audience with an exhibition titled “Apparitions” at Galerie de Vos in Paris. In 2015, Lollia presented  “Le Silence Absolu” in tribute to Van Gogh.

Cédric, what does the mouvement slow sustainable fashion invoke in you ? I think the entire clothing industry should adopt this method. It is too important to stay marginal.

What does the color  blue represent for you ? Klein. He made blue a work of art.

What is the best occasion for you to wear the kimono jacket ? It is like a second skin, I could wear it everyday.
